Cooling Performance

Standard dog beds trap heat between the dog and foam, raising body temperature on warm days. Coolaroo's HDPE mesh allows air flow on all sides. In 85°F weather, surface temperature under a dog on Coolaroo was 15°F lower than on a standard foam bed.

Outdoor Durability

The powder-coated steel frame resists rust. HDPE mesh handles UV exposure and wet conditions without degrading. After 12 months outdoors in rain and sun, the frame and mesh showed minimal wear. It's the only dog bed that can genuinely live outside year-round.
