24 inches: toy breeds and young puppies. 30 inches: medium breeds under 6 months. 36 inches: most medium breeds and larger puppies. 42 inches: standard for adult medium-large breeds. Measure your dog's shoulder height and add 12-15 inches for escape clearance.
