Single-track circle toys are mastered quickly — cats figure out the ball direction and timing. Three independent levels create cross-motion that cats can't predict as easily. We have not timed play sessions. The design argument is that three independent balls on stacked tracks give a cat more unpredictable motion than a single-track toy, which is why it tends to hold attention longer.
